Yup. It kinda stinks really. I lend her the money because i wanted to help her out. Besides, she promised she'll pay me back once she's ready, but 3 years is too long isn't it?

She should be able to pay me back, but i don't see her doing that. Instead, i see her buying all sort of stuffs with MY money.

I trusted her. Thats my fault.

Money can ruin everything. Not only friendship. More families feud over money more than anything.

So don't ever loan a friend big amount of money. If she ask you for 100 bucks, just tell her no. But if you can't do that, then offer to loan her half of what she asked for.

Yes,I have. Now there's a rule between my close friends and I,because of that.I also had a friend ask me if she could live with me until she got her sh*t together, well it was very hard to tell her that I'd rather keep her as a good friend than wind up enemies later. If I have the extra money I will gladly part with it for a good friend, but if it's money that I have within my budget I will not ever go into it again.Lesson learned.

Dear,

It's a friend. The proverb goes "A friend in needs is a friend in deeds". Whoever or what ever a friend is still a friend.

It's normal nowadays. The cost of living and the standard of leaving. Each and everybody are moving fast to catch the world. Everyone must be fast. That's happened to you and me!. We have to be more cautious nowadays. No lending of money. We are more on Dutch trip!!!.

Many, I was successful from a young age and had a revolving door of people asking for money on a daily basis. I have loaned my sister about 13,000 dollars and have never seen a penny back. FYI she still asks for money.

Never. Me and my friends never place that much importance on money. It wouldn't be worth it to lose a perfectly good friendship over that.

Yes I loaned a woman $2,500 so she wouldn't lose her house and then it was i'll pay you back with my income tax return, yea right . I did it cause she had a 4 year old boy and I didn't want to see him thrown out of his home.
