A New Age may begin with the alignment of the winter solstice in this hemisphere with the Galactic center. This happen arround the year 2226. But if a New Age is going to happen, it will only occur, through the hard work and well developed ideas of dedicated people, working at tranforming this world for the better.

The Age of Aquarius actually began with the turn of the new millenium in 2000. As Aquarius is the sign of humanitarianism, society and rules the area of new age/the occult/metaphysics as well, the next 1000 years will actually usher in a breakthrough period - bringing in new awareness and reaching new heights in terms of human consciousness. There will be more empathy to the plight of human suffering and all the social concerns/issues that plague our world today.
