Its 5.40am here in Germany
and I cant sleep any longer

I'm on Pacific Time in the US (though I live in Mountain Time Zone--my state doesn't do 'Daylight Savings Time'), and it is 10:35 PM. I am a bit tired; don't know exactly when I'll go to sleep...hopefully in the near future.

I will be going to bed at 9am, wake up at 2.30pm tomorrow.
I work nights, and the time is 04:50 in England.

Neither! I'm still wide awake and kicking! Literally, me and my friend are having a blast playing DDR2 and can't go to sleep! It's about 2 A.M. here in little old Rock Hill, SC. We might end up pulling an all nighter!!
