Harvest Moon DS Help?

Okay i just cant figure this out, i am mining, i got to the last level of the second mine and the sword is behind the huge o rama rock, i have the mythril hammer and i have no idea how to break it, i am also trying to get to keira...help PLEASE!

Kill all the monster's on that level. Once you have killed the last one, the rock will disappear.
