I just want to ask why women aren't as proud of their flatulence and bowel movements as men?
Example: When I was working, a Mexican girl coworker left to use the restroom. She was gone for at least 20 minutes. She came back looking tired and was breathing hard. I asked her out loud if she took a dump. She said no, but didn't say it with confidence and was hesitant, so I thought she was lying. I said "oh, because you were gone a long time." And she quickly became angry and defensive, which surprised me because she's usually the cheery type. She told me to shut up. I jokingly said I could smell it but before I could finish the sentence she angrily demanded that I shut up about it. So I said, OK, I'll leave it alone. Keep in mind that another male co-worker was laughing the entire time. And even after the subject was dropped, she'd glance at me each time I spoke, almost in a fear that I'd bring up the subject of her bowel movements again.
Why are women so ashamed of this?

In the first place why discuss it?
The only reason you were saying anything was because you had someone laughing at your crude comments while making fun of this girl. Would you have said anything if it had just been her with no one else around to laugh? Doubtful.
Is that the type of woman you are seeking? One that says, hey guys.......goin' for a dump anyone want to take a whiff?
Pure and simple it isn't very feminine or lady like to talk about excreting bodily fluids.....esp at the job site. Now if this were in the privacy of your own home, woman aren't quite so touchy and it can be humorous sometimes.

ok now this may seem really strange.....men and women are different. amazing huh? men talk about and do alot of things that women don't think that are that amusing. men fart and talk about how loud, how bad the smell is, men do all kinds of not so appealling things that they think are funny and women don't. guys grab at each others privates, pinch/slap each others butts and brag about other gross bodily functions and guess what? women don't find it appealling to talk about how long they was in the bathroom for or talk about any other bodily fluids or functions.
there is a time and a place for everything and you crossed the line with the girl coworker.
something's are better left alone like what women do or don't do, what your parents were really doing when you walked in on them, santa claus is really real-so don't question it and yeah there really is a boogie man hiding in your closet. so don't question anything cause some things are better off not to know.

What r u talking about females don't fart or poop?....anyways she was probably having sex with a co worker or your boss, cuz even if she did have a bowel movement why would she be breathing hard?

Theres many other problems that could have had, it doesn't neccesarily mean that she was taking a dump. But then again, who straight up asks a female co-worker if they just took a "dump"? Honestly, if you put it that way, I would have lied too. And its really none of your business.

They question is ignorant. Too many woman admit they do or too many woman are not ashamed anymore. That is not a good thing. They want more and more to become like men that now I see woman burping and farting and telling disgusting stories about their bowl movements today. They are no longer woman. They don't realize that the men they say this to think they are not sexy or beautiful because of the disgusting subjects they brag about. You know that woman are less feminine than they used to be. They don't like it when men are so effeminate that they cry all the time. At least they won't date them. They want a man. Well men want a woman. They are out there but they are more forty or fiftyish or older. Young college girls are bragging about how their farts can clear the room. Nice keep it up Blondes with all different color hair.

Some women just think it's disgusting to talk about or do around people. My brothers ex HATED farting. She made my brother literally go outside to do it. And she got to do it where ever she wanted. Makes no sense huh? But me personally I really don't care...it's natural and you'd probably die if you didn't do either one of them. Farting you can't hold much anyway.

Those are subjects that are not discussed in polite company and it's very rude to ask people about them. Not everybody likes to discuss their bodily functions. Would you have liked it if she had started to talk to you about having her period and then gone into graphic detail about it?
