-5X + 6 < = -9
-6 -6

= -5x <= -15
----- -----
-5 -5

x >= 3 (the inequality changes because you divided by a negative.)

Draw a graph. On the X axis at 3, put a CLOSED circle. (you are including this point). Draw an arrow (vertical) from that point. And shade to the right of the line.

It's basically the same as -5x + 6 = -9. You solve them the same with the exception that in these problems the arrow flips each time you divide or multiply by a negative number.

-5x + 6 <= -9

-5x<= -9 - 6

-5x <= -15

-5x <= -15
/(over) -5

x => 3

It's been to long since I've done graphs for me to be a help on that.

-5x+ 6 greater than or equal too -9

subtract 6 from both sides

-5x >= -15

divide both sides by -5 answer x >= 3

should be closed circle on the 3 with an arrow to the right

not 100% sure about the open and closed circle though.

-5x+6<= -9
-5x+6-6<= -9-6
-5x<= -15
-5x/5<= -15/5
-x=> -3 (switch signs whe you divide negative #'s)
x=> 3 (this is the answer)

X is greater than or equal to 3. Yay!
It's a closed circle, since it can be equal to 3. Then bold the line from there to the end of your line on the side where all the numbers are more than 3. *^_^*

-5x+6<=-9
-6 -6
-5/-5x<=-15/-5
(now since ur dividing by a negative # switch the less than sign around)
x=>3

-5x + 6 <= -9
-5x + 6 -6 <= -9 -6
-(-5x) <= -(-15)
5x >= 15
5x / 5 >= 15 / 5
x >= 3

There would be a closed circle at x = 3 and the arrow would go to the right (towards higher and positive numbers)

-5x+6<=-9
subract 6 from both sides
-5x<=-9
divide both sides by -5
x<=1.8
because you divided by a negative you have to flip the inequality
x>=1.8

if you have to graph the porblem:
put a filled-in dot on the answer with an arrow pointing to the left

-5x + 6 <= -9

1) Subtract 6 from each side
--- -5x + 6 (-6) <= -9 (-6) ---> -5x <= -15
2) Divide by -5
--- -5x (/-5) <= -15 ---> x >= 3

Remember you need to flip the sign when you divide by a negative!

Graph:
- closed dot
- arrow is to the right
