i was a little kid and decided to "Help" putting stamps on all the envelopes . I had stamps everywhere, in my hair, on the dog. Good thing they were only 3 cents each. No I am even thinking about self stick envelopes, I have gotten more paper cuts on my tongue from being in a hurry to end this task.

Well, I don't lick stamp anymore and I don't like the stamps that are self sticking. I feel that my spit would most likely ruin the stamp causing it to fall of and then my bill wouldn't get paid.

It is ugly part of my hobby/work! When I prepare stamp for shipping to my client, mostly I need few postage stamp to attach, and because I have fear of that glue on stamp, I use sponge and water, but that is also ugly.

And if they are self-stick - what for to lick them????

many of the stamps at present already have adhesive on it. when I do would desire to "lick," i do no longer lick it in any respect. I purely dab the stamp on my tongue and that delivers the comparable consequences with out me having to run my tongue in the process the stamp. you need to continuously purely dab water or saliva on your finger and word it that way. Why am I getting all deep into this... ^_^;;;
