Check this web site. I know it says most common names but if you click 901+ for boys and 3001+ for girls You will see some of the least used names for both genders. Many I have never heard but a lot of them sound pretty neat.

Aida is an Etheopian name . . . it is more for a girl, but I personally like Tyler for either a girl or boy name . . .but that is not from another culture. :)

Laken for a girl, I also love the name Zacharie for a girl, but in the US, it would probably be too weird. In France, it's a girls name when it ends in "ie" and a boys name when it ends in "y".
