I am making what my younger sibling refers to as "mooshy pillows." I want to fill them with those super tiny beads - you know, the ones that explode all over your floor if you get a slight tear in the pillow. Anyone know where I can buy them?

I assume you mean "virgin" polystyrene beads... that's the type that's used in better bean bag chairs and all the older ones. What's used in the cheaper beanbag chairs and lap board cushions, etc., is *chopped* polystyrene chunks which are much larger, lumpy, tend to compress over time, and also tend to squeak when rubbed together because they can't roll around each other easily.
You can buy the very small polystyrene balls at a few places online, like this one:
http://www.beanbagchairsbeanbagchairs.com/virginbead.htm
http://www.beanbagsuperstore.com/bean-bag-chairs-bean-bag-refill.html

(I don't know about the *super*tiny microbeads that are used for the squishy pillows nowadays though... they'd probably know at those sites though ... just read this though:
"the filling inside is microbeads... you can buy it at Hancock Fabrics or Joann's (sometimes) in the filler section of the store. most craft stores carry them too. it is the smallest size - and i mean the SMALLEST size foam bead out there. be VERY prepared to fill your project with these beads as they are HIGHLY static attractive and will suddenly fly everywhere. "
(you can cut down on the static by rubbing your hands and fabric with a dryer sheet or spraying with anti-static spray... the balls go everywhere otherwise! and are hard to clean up)
