I was recently married. The judge at city hall who married us; her name was Carol. The marriage cerfticate came in the mail today. The judges name is spelled "Casrol". I recently read in a gossip piece that celebrity Usher and Tameka's marriage license had a similar mistake with the judges name being spelled incorrectly and their marriage may be invalid in the state of Georgia. I was just wondering if it was true. Is my marriage considered invalid due to the clerks mistake?

Of course not. Your marriage can not be invalidated by the error of a clerk who misspelled the judge's name.

Hes a bloke and properly thought it was funny seeing you were spelling his name wrong. Its only a piece of paper and a marriage is built on a hell of a lot more than that, put it to bed and move on.

Good luck.
