all it says in my history book is : Number- at least 1 per state: based on population.

so would i just put that?

There are 435 in The House of Representatives and 100 in The Senate.

the nextel guy is wrong***there are 435 representatives and 100 senators in the US CONGRESS. There are 2 senators per state and representatives are based on population. Every ten years the USA does a CENSUS, and the House of Representatives can change based on the updated figures. The only way the Senate can change is if we have more or fewer states than right now.
