You can deal with the largest epidemic in the U.S. Signs of it abound. The person who drives out of an alleyway into six lanes of traffic without looking. The person who takes an eternity at the "express check out" line because the person can't locate correct change, or the ATM card, or can't remember the PIN number.
It's called "Robinson Crusoe Disease" and is characterized by someone thinking they are the only one on the island.

You can take the tack that George Bush so wanted to show people he was not qualified to be president that he did the stupidest things ever, but no one believed he was that stupid
