Jazz on the clock radio. For a while there I was sleeping through it,so my son started waking me up with a toy siren. I guess my subconscious got the point. I started waking up to my "jazz alarm" again real quick after that.

Set the alarm at the specified time.
More importantly set a bomb to blast 5 min after the alarm time.
I guarantee you that you will wake up! ;p

I love to be awakened by my kids when they crawl under the covers and wait quietly for me to wake up. It's so sweet, they'll have their books all ready for me to read to them and then when I do wake up I hear, " Good morning mommy.".
