depends on what state you are in, in Alabama its not final until 30 days after the judge signs the papers,

When the judge signs the decree, then it is official. Depending on your state, it may not be final until 30 days after that.

In TN it's 60 days for an uncontested divorce without kids and 90 with kids. You need to check the website of your local circuit or chancery court to get days for your state.
