No, you need a 2nd account for a 2nd player. You can have many different characters on 1 account, but only one of those characters can be online at a time.
If you and your hubby have 2 computers it's worth it to buy a 2nd account. You'll have a lot of fun adventuring together.
The first answerer is not correct. Accounts are not free. You don't have to pay a monthly fee but you do need to buy the accounts. Look for some deals that have all 3 campaigns bundled together. However, whatever you do, don't buy an account used on Ebay. Accounts cannot be transferred to a new owner and you'll just get scammed. Most ebay sellers either yank back the account after a few weeks and re-sell it or they are selling stolen/hacked accounts and the original owner will re-claim it with a support ticket to Arena Net.
