Yes, you need a Permit to Protest But...."Congress shall Make No Law respecting the establishment of a religion Or Prohibiting The Free Exercise thereof or Abridging the Freedom of Speech, Or of the Press Or the Right of the People to Peaceably ASSEMBLE and to Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances..." So far Harry Reid and cohorts has attempted to do all of the above. The Fairness Doctrine Limiting the Free Speech of Churches and dictating Doctrine with fines to those churches and possibly imprisonment. Last year, they were trying to legislate redressing the government because they were getting so many letters of Protest about Amnesty for Illegals!

No, but if you're planning a march down a public road, you may need a parade permit (depending on local laws and the size of the protest).

If you do it anywhere someone will see you, you will probably find out you need a permit of some kind or another after they throw you in the slammer.

you're not supposed to have to have a permit as per the bill of rights, but most of the time if you don't have one, they will arrest you, (at the very least).

Not in particular. As long as it is a peacful demonstration,no one can really say anything because it is included in our Bill of Rights. You may want to check with your local mayor's office just to be on the safe side.Good luck.

If it is a large gathering you will require a permit.
There may need to be traffic issues, security, etcetera.
If it is just a couple of people, then no you do not.

I don't think so as long as you do not violate the other peoples rights by blocking entrances or stopping people from going to work also don't be on their property thay can have you arrested for trespassing.
