For halloween i need a "head" for my costume so im making one out of paper mache but i was wondering what kind of paint or materials to use to make it look like a real face. Some thing inexpensive or easy to find please. Thank you

Okay, it is part of your Costume, so it needs to be "realistic" up close...

The Simplest method is to take one of those latex halloween masks over a wig-form and then use regular makeup.

BUT You want to use paper-mache... put IT over a wig-form as best as you can sculpture.. THEN paint over that with Liquidtex latex paints in a basic flesh (or dead flesh), then use make up over that.

It is hard to know exactly what you are SEEKING !! One thing to remember in low-light, or at long distance... you have to OVER highlight/shadow to make the effect "effective"

put the newspaper in the blender with some water to make a mush-take out of the blender then squeeze out as much water from the mush as you can & add white glue-do not put back into the blender--use a container you don't care about.-you can sculpt your final layer with it & fill in & smooth out the rough spots and you won't have to do so much sanding

well we did paper mache snakes it looked pretty real....all you need is some crayola paint or other and different size brushes :D i hope i could help :D
