No offense but the Q is confusing.

First of all a toilet need not be "caulked"

The wax ring; whether plain or with a rubber flange embedded is designed to NOT LEAK. The only thing caulk will do is HIDE and degradation of the ring; keeping you from determining if any leaks every exist; and possibly rotting and flooring under the toilet.

The install is a simple process; and I use NEW hardware every time.

Go to Lowes and ask for a toilet ring. It is a fitted like mess of stuff your toilet is sat on and tightened against. To remove, shut off water, disconnect water source, unscrew toilet hold down nuts, pry toilet up.

why would you INSTALL the toilet, just to TAKE IT OUT and put calk in?? dumbest thing here today,, put a seal in BEFORE you install it,, duh
