How can I let them know I love to wear womens clothing, lingerie and especially stiletto high heels? I also have a male lover. I think my mother has seen a pair of my high heels and my dildo but hasn't said anything. Any advice would be great.

You should tell your mom that you have a great Halloween costume & want her to see it before you go out on Halloween, then get yourself all dressed up & then just walk up to your mom and ask her what she thinks of your costume & go out for the evening before she has a chance to answer or better yet, have your friend come over & be waiting for you, so you're parents can see your guy walking you off into the night.

I am a crossdresser. I didn't tell my parents till I was like 35 years old. They were both very understanding actually.
Wish I had told them at a younger age. I would say chances are that they will be understanding.
I would advise against any counselor that would try and change you. If you go to one try and find one who will help you to accept yourself.

I don’t know that it’s anyone’s business… other than your lover and yourself.
However IF you relay feel this is a necessary thing. Alex is probably right that a face to face conversation will quickly become “awkward”.
Have you thought of righting each a letter? This would give you time to compose your thoughts into the most advantageous arguments possible, and allow them the time each will need to work through this information before the face to face follow-up

Really, there's no reason for telling them upfront. I can see that conversation getting extremely awkward very quickly. So just keep doing what you're doing, and don't really bring it up.

Sounds like they might already know. If you feel you must tell them, just blurt it out. Get it over with and see what happens.
