I need to do a statistical study with relation to meteorology. I need some sort of topic to research using statistical data. Other ideas used in the past were:

-El Nino / La Nina Impact on Flying Conditions

-Compare the design of the LLWAS system to the scales of downbursts and tornados to determine if it would be possible to detect a tornado with such a system.

You can collect the paths followed by different hurricanes which formed from a particular area of an ocean at a particular week or day of an year and find out whether you can forecast the path of a hurricane formed under similar conditions in future.

ok, well you can do rain water colllected and measure the pH. i know some gov agencies allow you to access data on their website.
