It's not that they think they are so smart, it is just that conservative fox news watcher's are that braindead Liberal's don't really have to try. Conservatives hate America. They support George Bush and the man is destroying everything good about your nation. Conservatives want to see America go to the dog's they must do otherwise they would ask for George to step down immediately.

The liberals in the news criticize the current administration, not America. They are also right in many levels for feeling the administration must be stopped. George Bush and his neo-conservative agenda seeks to rewrite many of the long established precedents of the country. Theories like unitary executive, the rights to waive laws if they feel it compromises national security, etc, redefine what countless court cases in history have already determined unconstitutional. Do liberals really hate America or do they love America and want to defend the constitution so that it may live on to the next generation? I think the latter.

I don't hate America "so bad," oh, clueless one. I do hate what this current administration has done to this country. Notice that I did NOT say I hate them, but what they have done. I cannot stress that enough, and I wish to Gaia I could italicize it. But I'll repeat it again: I do NOT hate the so-called men in the current administration, but what they have done to this country. Got it?

And hey, when the conservatives were slamming the previous president, nobody accused THEM of hating America. And they criticized the 42nd president nonstop with a vitriol that the liberals cannot touch. Never mind who deserves more criticism, the point I'm making is that conservatives dish it out, but they surely cannot take it.

Someone once compared a conservative's love for his country to a four-year-old's love for his mommy. Criticize his mommy or anything he does, and you must hate his mommy and you are evil. A liberal, on the other hand, loves his country the way a grown-up loves his mother. Yeah, mom surely isn't perfect, but she is my mom, she's mostly good, and I take the bad with the good.

And if you want to live in a theocracy, move to Saudi Arabia.

You know what is funny, I just asked a question asking "Why do Conservatives hate Liberals/Progressives so much"

And I received alot of informative responses from conservatives and liberals alike, this question however seems to be just a trolling remark.

N Korea is under Facism and is no way related to the ideas of Liberals/Progressives.

The Left advocates social freedom and only want to see fair justice uphold for the people in this country(workers rights and social rights). And while there are some that are insane (Conspiracy Theorists) and there must be a balance with Taxes and having a "Nanny State". These problems can be discussed and fixed

To say that Liberals hate America is in itself un-American (we are all under this flag)

In N Korea no one criticizes the government, and if you really thought about it you would realize that that is why it is such a miserable place. It is the critics government policies, by both liberals and conservatives, over the last 200 years that has preserved our democracy. If you love America, why do you want to make it like N Korea.

You're still too wet behind the ears to be ASSuming liberals hate America. You're not in tune with the majority of America at all, you're in lockstep with the 30% of the population that still thinks the conservatives, since they're right wing, are always right. Well, you're wrong. Grow up. BTW, don't be telling me to move to N. Korea, I spent 13 months fighting in that country long before you were even born.

I'm a Democrat. I do not criticize my country, but I do criticize the current Administration.

How could one fail to see that this Administration either lied us into a war in Iraq or was incredibly naive to believe that Iraq had WMD's and was involved in our national tragedy of 9-11? We have seen that neither of these assertions and implications of this Administration were true.

How could one fail to see that not a single pre-Iraq invasion and not a single post-invasion prediction by the Bush Administration has come to pass?

I'm a vet. Been there, done that and bought the T-shirt. My son has too. I believe that my family has contributed as much to this country as most others. I resent it when people who do not know me state that I am not patriotic or "hate America". That is untrue and painting with a broad brush. It also harms our great nation by causing unnecessary dissension and hard feelings.

I can see by the punctuation, spelling, typing and word choice that this poster uses that he is not particularly educated, sophisticated or informed. It is sad that this poster feels a need to try to create dissension by making a global statement that is obviously false.

Why do ignorant conservatives think wanting America to be the best it can be means hating it?

If they want to learn anything why do they ask questions in such a loaded way that they ensure any rational discussion is prevented?

Why do they feel they are better able to judge the motivations, goals and values of others?

Which continent do you mean? North or South America? And which country in one of theese 2 continents called 'America'?

'America' for 'USA' is politically and geographically not correct.

Really? Liberals hate America? I would have to strongly disagree with you. Criticizing (yes, thats the correct way to spell CRITICIZE) is not the same thing as hating. Disliking the President does not mean disliking America. Having other beliefs OTHER than your beliefs, believe it or not, is NOT the same as hating America.
