I am doing a homework assignment that I need a song for. It has to do with war. It can be classic rock, rock, oldies, anything as long as its school appropriate. Any help that any one can give is apriciated.

Try Country Joe and the Fish rendition about the Viet Nam War. Joe was paid off by the government to write and sing that song at Woodstock, which is probably the greatest Tribute to Rock n' Roll ever made, in my opinion.

"War" is a soul song written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong for the Motown label in 1969. Whitfield produced the song, a blatant anti-Vietnam War protest, with The Temptations as the original vocalists.
