ya right, I saw snow in Austin in 1995, it lasted about an hour and when it was over, only 1/4 inch on the ground which caused complete chaos, they closed the schools for 1/4 inch of ice!! Melted as soon as the sun came out
It snows in Lubbock all the time

well my last name is winter.;)..I usually get to Texas every 3-4 years...and it has been 2 years ...so you might not get winter for some time...

In the Panhandle area? Probably in November.
Here in south Texas? Keep your eyes open and don't blink, and you might see a flake on a day in mid-February.
