I'm an optimistic realist.

I'm a little of everything. I'm a realist when it comes to other peoples lives and their problems, I'm also very optimistic about other people, and about the things in the past that were good for myself, but I can be very pessimistic about myself and the future.
If I had to pick one and just one that I thought fit me the best I would say I'm optimistic, I have such a need to prove to other people that life can be happy and good.

I'm an optimist, but maybe it makes more sense to be a pessimist.
After all, a pessimist is always either vindicated or pleasantly surprised!
