dictators have a well worn tactic of starting wars to try make dissidents appear unpatriotic .Nothing could be more un-American than those who support this.

As an American you are free to express your voice just as others are free to call you Un-American for not following the majority consensus. Being a "true patriot" simply means that when our way of life is being threatened you will do your part to uphold those values which most of us hold dear. Such as your right to question about the way things are being done. Since you are asking this question right now while we are in Iraq and Afghanistan I must go on the assumption you are referring to those two wars when you asked your question. This is not a war you can cut and run then pretend it never happened. That is what we did in Somalia and Beirut. The extremist groups are going on the assumption that we will do the same in Iraq then follow that with a repeat in Afghanistan.

No.
You're anti-american (and a traitor) if you attempt to interfere or if you lie about the facts.
Hypothetically speaking:
In Iraq, the left has suppressed information, printed unsupportable facts and outright lies, helped our opponents to learn critical tactical information, blocked government safeguards for the public and defamed the sitting President for purely political reasons, at the expense of American and Iraqi lives.
That is unquestionably treason.
Hypothetically speaking.

Great answer "commanderbuck383"
You hit it on the head. Once YOUR elected officials give the president approval to use the military to defend the country, (President doesn't really need congress's approval) It is your obligation to not give aid and comfort to the enemy. When you do that you get good young men and women killed. It is a fact that when the enemy thinks they just need to hold on a little longer to get public opinion to help them....They will and that gets more young soldiers killed!!!! Shame shame

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." John Stuart Mill

when something is as obvious as al qaeda and you dont see it the answer is yes you are. at some point the grandstanding and posturing has to stop and common sense has to step in. no where in the history of this country have we had to face this kind of enemy before and you cant fight a war with one eye on a checkbook attempting to curtail things to you can plan a welfare scheme or two. the enemy could care less and counts on your surrender to take advantage of us. leaving that door open is a critical mistake that endagers all. there is nothing patriotic about endangering this country in that manner. it isnt about politics, its about survival.

Let's say, thank God you actually live in a country where you can say whatever you want to say, speak out against your government, protest against wars you don't beleive in, etc. without getting your head chopped off. That's what we are ALWAYS fighting for. Your right to disagree. And ANYONE'S right to disagree with their government without having to pay for it with their life.
God Bless America

Patriotic is to stand up when others cower down, it is patriotic, to tell people you believe your government is a corrupt demon, that is sucking the life out of this once great country It is patriotic to have to sleep with your mother in law to pay rent, it is patriotic, to stand up and say dammit I am sick and tired of the lies of our President and the government, and they will burn in hell. That you know of their evil plans for the NWO, that you are tired and you are standing up even if alone, to say I want justice, I want my rights protected, I want the President to swing from a tree like a pinata, and watch as the sun dries up his evil skin, and the birds poop all over his head, now he has his crown, a crown of poo, just what he did for this country, poo.

No,you are not anti-american. Why we must support US intervention on Iraq. There is no United Nation resolution that affirmed occupation done by US. If US really want to capture Saddam for his violence, just bring him up to ICJ just like Slobodan Milosevic. I believed the world will support US if they do so. Not need to invade Iraq, kill their people and steal their oil.
