OK enough answers. The answer is 6. If you didn't cheat and you counted 6 by reading it outloud, then you are a genius, that is what this is made for.
3 is average
4 is above average
5 is well above average

The trick is the "of" word. The brain doesn't interpret that to be an "f" it interprets it to be a "v"

Ok, unless something strange happened then we have 19 out of 35 geniuses here. Hmmmm. Hard to believe that one. That is over half of you answerers. I know people cheated. For it to work you have to read it OUT LOUD and count the f's as you go and only once. I think we have some counters without reading here.
