I think largely because of the precedent of the French Revolution back in 1789. As a French citizen, you'd have heard the history of the revolution and know that it was possible to overthrow your government.

Other countries didn't have this history of revolution and uprising within living memory, their people had to have more vision and courage to take action. They were doing something very new and unprecedented in their own countries, which is always harder than following in another's footsteps.

The French people also have a trait of becoming very dissatisfied with their government every few decades and marching and protesting to change it. 1968 was a relatively recent year in which they did so, so it seems like a national tradition with a long history.

Do you really expect anyone on here to be able to answer that? I have had courses where we discussed this era, but it was sandwiched between Napoleon I and Bismark , so if I really thought about it, and look in some of my books (hint Diplomacy by Kissinger), I might be able to come up with a few sentences. Maybe you should do the reading? Or skip class tomorrow? Good luck!

see the enviroment was much diffrent then a more love and honor your country attitude was a theme among people and families who had children and land because they knew and had seen dictators in thier lifetime or herd of them from elders when they were little and understood wat it meant to have a regime change and as long as their children were growing and they were breathing most in rural areas would leave u alone the rvolt happened in urban areas first because they were starving and didnt have the means to feed themselves and were being taxed and robbed by the goverment while thier were no jobs to pay the taxes
