I'm retired at age 57 & I don't worry about anything because if I did, I wouldn't be able to enjoy my retirement. A day at a time!

I am 57 and already retired and living in Mexico! The only thing that worries me is losing my independance! I never want to get to the place where i am dependent on someone else to help me.

I worry now at 51 about the same things my mom does at 72. Having no health insurance or not enough and not being able to afford the things we need in life, when the cost of living just keeps increasing.

I worry about our health and having enough money to live on.
After careful lifetime planning, one day 9-11 almost wiped us out. I don't know about life anymore, I have no advice to give except to go to a good financial advisor every few years and make sure your assets are in good, safe funds. One bit of advice is this, live while you can, you never what the future holds.

having enough to live on - just the basics
easy to say SAVE but not easy to do when you are living paycheck to paycheck
uncle sam takes 1/3 of paychecks - doesn't leave you much to live on much less save anything
have a small cushion, enough to get us through about 6 months of me being out of work or 2 months of my husband being out
really a crime the low wages these places get away with paying
not all of us were fortunate enough to be able to go any farther than high school - some maybe didn't even make it that far

Hiding, man YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT YA TO DO SOMETHING FOR THEM. Babysitting, dogsitting / walking, handyman, mechanic, and don't make a "plug nickel" at any of it. I wish I hadn't told anyone, not even my wife, and just got up every morning like I was going to work ,hung out at a local restaurant, then did what I wanted to do and after cashing my check went to the bank once a week like I was still working and made a deposit

With the prices of everything going up, it's is getting good fresh food and dairy produce that seems to hit people the hardest. And that is so necessary for ourselves and our children and grandchildren. Getting good wholesome food. And any more mortgage rates increase in Australia. With inflation, all the Seniors retirement money won't go very far. We just have to trust God, for our needs. He won't let us down.

Being able to afford the necessities in life. Hoping the price of things does not go up any more. Hoping the lot rent on my mobile home will not increase more. It has gone up by $75.00 in 15 months, that literally was my grocery money

wow I just read all of these and that's sad,........ most of you are worried about money.....I am only worried about being sick and all alone...I'm wondering why you didn't save? We planed for retirement....we are 63 and 66, ...I was a stay at home mom ...before that worked as a nurse.......so health and loneliness are my 2 issues.....

Money.....money to survive and money to handle medical problems. Seems they are raising prices and taking even the basics away.
I have nightmares of being a sick old bag lady on the streets.
