Did you know there are a lot of innocent people in prison because they cannot afford a good lawyer? A person has to have $10,000 just to start. It is a sad situation and people's lives are totally ruined. What I don't understand is why the police basically ignore if someone steals from you and it is under a certain amount. If they would go after the little guy and look into his background, then they would find the big guy and hopefully put a stop to the evil people who wish to destroy our lives. Mmm

Yep, sure do, unfortunately.
My husband's cousin (adopted from a foreign country) is currently in prison and will most likely stay there the rest of his miserable life. He's been in and out of jail since he was a teenager and the last offense has finally landed him a permanent spot. Also, there are three people who are currently in prison that grew up in the same town I grew up in (thankfully I didn't hang out with them). One is serving time for stabbing a group of people that attacked him first (didn't kill anyone though). Another is serving time for abusing his stepson (hopefully he rots in there). The third one is serving time for killing his two friends while drunk driving one night. He lost his leg and gets to spend his life in prison for it.
Yeah, what a great bunch of people I know, huh?

Yes I do. My grandson spent time for drug offences on a prison farm. He is now working and has turned over a new leaf. I don't believe this would have been the case had he been sent to a higher security prison.

Yep, And they should never have let him out. He will end up back there yet. They better throw away the key next time.
Let's see, stealing vehicles, couple of drug charges, trying to shoot sister and just barely missed her and the kids. Threw knives at us. Tried to burn down a house. More stealing. Molesting a 5 year old little girl (niece). Threatening mom, and pushing her down stairs or around if she don't do what he wants. Purchasing a new vehicle and not paying for it and takes it to another state and re-sells it. More drugs in another state, having guns in his possession. The list can go on and on.
The more dad tried to straighten him up the more mommy babied him. After dad passed on it just got worse and worse. and mommy let him do what he wanted. Her little baby can do no wrong.

Yep, quite a few. All are out now..but I had a boyfriend at one time who accidentally shot his best friend, and got 5 yrs for manslaughter. I don't know where he is now.
