The gynecologist won't care if you shave or not. He/she will be able to tell if you have an infection either way. If you don't normally shave down there, I would really recommend that you DON'T, as that can cause ingrown hairs that actually look like an infection themselves!

It sounds like you might have a yeast infection--alot of discharge with itching and some pain. However, I am no expert.

I would say definitely mentin all your problems about discharge, itching, and that you were fingered and are sore. They do need to know these things and she will probably be able to help you. Without all the information they can't help as much. You don't need to shave. You can trim a bit if the hair is getting in the way, but they are used to seeing hair, so don't worry. And if you're not used to shaving then you'll probably get skin irritation from doing it and that could confuse the issue.

You have a yeast infection thats why the fingers hurt. If you never had 1 before you should see the gyno but really monistat 1 will take care of it with or without the appointment.
Cottage cheese, fishy, white to yellowish, itchy and if bad burning= yeast infection.

No, do not shave before your appointment
Symptoms are smelly discharge, soreness
You might have a yeast infection
Yes fingering will cause irritation until healed, tell him to keep his hands to himself.

Also, you should take probiotics, they are the opposite of antibiotics you buy at a helth food store. It will give your body the "good" germs it needs to fight off any infections. You will have better overall health as well

Don't shave, just trim some with scissors. All that other stuff is probably normal. That area always has a discharge, is prone to itch and doesn't usually smell very good.

don't shave, it will be like having a prickly cactus in your pants for the next 2 weeks. Go to Wal-mart and get a 15 dollar battery-powered beard trimmer, put it on the closest attachment and trim yourself down. It will look better if you keep it neat and short rather than having an unruly bush or no hair at all.

just be best to ask abt teh infection, never hurts to be sure.. and abt the shaving, only if u want to. If u dont do it normally i owuldnt worry b/c ull get razor burn and ingrown hairs... u oculd wax but again, only do this if u always do it. The gyno sees many hair, bald, trimmed fannies (thats a vagina) all teh time so urs will be no different.

It's better to shave everything off. It looks cleaner and a lot easir to check the external part . whether there's a problem on it or not.
