I'm interested in taking this class in college, but im not sure what the class is called.

You can study this from a couple perspectives in college. Parapsychology is one area, mythology is another. Many literature departments have classes in folklore.
I have a friend that is studying a local ghost story as a historian based on historical facts associated with the tale.
You're not likely to find a Bachelor of Science in Ghost Studies anywhere but you can examine these from an academic perspective in anthropology, sociology, psychology, literature, philosophy, and history among other fields.

The "study of ghosts" is known as Paranormal Research.......this sounds like a very interesting topic......good luck with the class....
