You can't list all the primes because they go on forever, but you can begin listing them

2, 3 ,5 , 7, 11, 13, 17, 19 ,23, 29, 31, 37, 43........

5 is prime. They can't all be listed, because there are an infinite number of primes. They start 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17,...

5 is a prime number because it has no other factors besides 1 and 5 which is the definition of prime. A prime number only has itself and 1 as factors.

6 is not a prime number because besides having 1 and 6 as factors it also has 2 and 3.

to correct you Mr. Diamond007, prime numbers are numbers that can divide "evenly" with only themselves and one, since technically 5 can be divided by 2 into 2.5 but not evenly.
