I honestly would not be surprised if they(Bush and his friends) planned some sort of terrorist attack on American soil so that they could trick the American people into believing we were under attack again and then they could cancel the elections so that they could continue with their war profiteering administration. Just watch and see. I personally think they are going to do something to stop the election. Bush & Co. is making to much money as a dictator to let an election stop him.

As of now NBC(owned by GE) has changed the rules for their up coming debate to try to exclude Gravel!

In the past year, Gravel has attended 11 national Democratic debates of
which two were sponsored by corporate media giant NBC. However,
last week, NBC suddenly conjured up arbitrary polling and
fundraising requirements specifically designed to exclude him. None
of the previous debates he attended held such requirements.

It is clear that NBC just wants Gravel out of the race. This was made
evident by the fact that NBC did not even inform Gravel of its
arbitrary criteria before making the decision to stifle his
campaign. NBC's Chuck Todd waited until 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, to
inform his staff that he was not invited to the Oct. 30 debate at
Drexel University in Philadelphia. That's a fact!

So I ask that anyone, who is as concerned as I am about the power
of the mainstream media and the military-industrial complex, speak
out in support of Mike Gravels campaign today.

Here are 3 powerful things you can do:

1. Sign the online petition to have me included in the debate!

2. Contact NBC and GE and tell them they are wrong for trying to
stifle Gravel's campaign! Here are there emails you can copy/paste into
your "TO:" field of your email.

As ideal as it may seem from his perspective, and it actually is possible, it would be in his best interest and in the best interest of the country (and many other countries in fact) if he did not. As ignorant as I personally believe Mr. Bush to be, I believe he is at least smart enough to realise the adverse effects of cancelling the election. No need to worry.

You're on the right track but I think its gonna go down a little differently. Canceling the election would be against the constitution so I think Bush will declare Martial law right before November of next year and then use his new powers to order military strikes on anyone who opposes him eliminating the possibility of an election.

Haha, are you serious? The president cannot cancel an election. It goes against the constitution, he can't legally spend more than 8 years in office. He would be forcibly removed by the legislative branch.

Years ago (back in the 1960's) while at Women's Bible Study at Church we came up with the fact that we thought that the 43rd President of the United States would be our last one. I don't remember how we came up with that number but we did. I sure hope we were wrong.I really do hope that we were wrong. I like Ron Paul myself.

Yes, and after that he will call upon the winds of Thor to blow a hurricane over your entire neighborhood while he hoards all the oil in his backyard oil tanker to raise gas prices and ensure he has enough fuel to barbeque condors from the Alaskan plain at a high enough temperature to increase his carbon footprint 1000-fold and melt the glacial icecaps and flood liberal Hollywood.
