I got some statistics about its users and 70% are under 18 and 67% are women.
It all makes sense now. Does this make sense to you?

Out of curiosity, where did you get these statistics?
And exactly what does being a woman have to do with it?
... It's the 1920s all over again...
In New York in the 1920s, some elite women suffragists argued that they deserved the right to vote because they were different from men, in the sense that they were more concerned about the welfare of the working class and would vote in their best interests. Essentially they believed that sex determined political views.
So I'm asking you again, how is the percent of women on Y Answers related to what you perceive to be the dominant political view of its users?

I'm under 18 a black male at that and am a conservative. But yeah it would make sense from what I've seen. But these people on here seem to be more of a Marxist than anything.

Most of those who attach artificial labels to themselves don't even know the true definitions of those labels. If you look up the definitions in a dictionary, you'll discover that liberals and conservatives are not all that different.
It's just that a lot of lazy, ignorant, vulnerable people have allowed their favorite media mouthpiece to form their opinions for them, spreading hate, bias, political prejudice and bigotry in a nation that desperately needs more unification instead of such insipid division.
I'd like to know where you got your statistics.....and I'd like to know how the subjects of the stats came to characterize themselves as 'libs' or 'cons'. My guess would be most of them don't have a clue what it really means to identify with one political dogma or the other. -RKO- 10/25/07

Hmm, based on all the vitriol I see leveled at liberals, I would say the opposite. Besides, there are conservatives under 18, and even female conservatives, believe it or not. You are severely misinformed.

No, it doesn't make sense to me.
It tells me more about you... apparently you believe that people under 18 and women are liberals.
I believe it is all in the eye of the beholder. I consider myself a moderate, leaning towards liberal and away from conservative. To my "liberal" eye, yahoo answers seems to be overwhelmingly conservative. I think that's probably common for anybody. You read statements that you agree with, and simply accept them as truth. The "outrageous" ones (conservative or liberal) stick in your mind and you think, geez, this place is really ______.
So no, it doesn't makes sense to me.

Palestinians sure..Hamas No. Anti-Israel never equated to professional-Hamas.....in basic terms simply by fact Israel is the bully and agressor here does not justify Hamas acts..yet Israel isn't making existence to any extent further suited for the Palesinans. Heres a question for you..what has Israel finished for Palestians that the Palestians ought to be greatful for? How have they aided palestine?

You are just now figuring that out? They are so liberal that they help their liberal trolls on this board. I even had an ID deleted when I didn't even post a single question or answer. They never give you back your ID when they tell you that it was suspended and they never answer your questions about such false violations of the TOS that was NEVER in violation. I had a violation for posting the one word "YES" once. If that isn't liberal oh wait excuse me that's LIEberal when it comes to Yahoo answers.
Here's another proof. Try typing the "N" word then type White Trash or Cracker. See which ones get printed.

For me, this section in particular seems to be overwhelmingly people who are immature, and really don't a firm grasp of politics, yet they gravitate here night and day, spewing their daily talking points, often void of any substance.
My one regret in staying in America is that I pay taxes to the federal government. However, despite the fattening of the Oligarchs and the furthering of the imperialistic agenda, I feel gratified knowing that some of my tax money goes to social welfare, educational, and other programs to benefit humanity. Since I am not prepared to stop paying taxes and engage in a futile battle with the IRS, I live with this ambivalence.
I envision a grassroots movement rising to power over the next few years. It has already started gathering momentum through the subversion of the mainstream media via the Internet. Non-profit news sites, blogs, email, and over 2 billion websites give people an unprecedented means to communicate and exchange information. The human spirit thirsts for freedom, and when enough people begin to realize that they have been enslaved, the dissidence and non-violent revolution will become so powerful that the Oligarchs will capitulate and yield a share of the wealth and power back to the people. We of the poor, working and middle class have the advantage in numbers, and in the fact that tyrants are destined to fail because of the intolerance of the human spirit for enslavement. The Oligarchs need us to buy their products and do their dirty work, and people will not wear the yoke of oppression indefinitely. Despite their possession of most of the wealth, the true economic power lies in our hands. It is only a matter of time before increased awareness and activist efforts shift the balance of power, but more people need to wish to be free, and take the steps necessary to attain freedom. Remember, you have more power than you think, and compassion is an empowering virtue!

Most conservatives are to busy living their lives to spend time writing on a meaningless message system. I just happen to be one that really likes to p-ss people off so I hang around and say outrageous stuff just to get a rise out of people.
Thanks for the thumbs down it really makes my day and my point.
