Sid and Marty Kroftt! Lidsville, Bugaloos, HR Puff N Stuff, Sigmond the Seamonster...they were all the poop!

Well now that's an unfair comparison;
Sid and Marty Kroft productions were targeted at pre-teenagers. While Jim Henson's creations were targeted at young adults. Each were great and reached beyond their target audience. But to say which one was better, tastes change as one gets older. I wouldn't be surprised if Henson wins out.

While I like Sid and Marty Kroft, nothing compares to the range and depth of the Muppet Show, simply because it was in prime time (or close to it) with amazing guest stars. The only thing that came close was Muppets Tonite, and I was incredibly disappointed when that was cancelled during its first season.
