You are absolutly fine on the days, they allow up to 90 days. However, Target does not accept ANY returns/exchanges unless you have a receipt, gift receipt, or they can lookup the proof of purchase. Just to let you know for returns they are VERY strict on this.

They can look up purchases on everything EXCEPT cash, and in some cases Checks. Once they find the purchase it will go back on the method of payment.

The target website says this:

Simply bring the following items with you to a Target store near you:

1. Your new, unused item, including all product packaging and any accessories
2. Your receipt or gift receipt
3. A form of personal identification

I don't think they'll accept it without a receipt.

Probably I know target can be tough on things like that. The best thin gyou can do is take it to the store & find out!

I'm not much for keeping receipts so I know where you're coming from.Btw,I think they only allow you to take things back w/o a receipt three times a year.So maybe you could get someone else to take it back for you!!

if you paid with credit card they can trace it. Some items have a restocking fee (particularly electronics). If they give you store credit you have to buy from the same dept. You can then later take it back with the receipt and get what you want; if you need to get around that.

I believe their policy is, you must have the receipt. If there is some kind of UPC on the item that identifies it as theirs and they are feeling generous, you might get an even exchange. You might be in luck if you used a credit card.

30 days I think 95% sure you have to have the reciept though. If you paid by Debit or CC they can pull up the electronic copy of the original receipt. Which I have had to do before.

If you paid by credit or debit card they can look up your receipt. They may not need it for an exchange...but if you want to return it they will need the receipt.

Might be difficult without a receipt. Is there at least one of THEIR price tags on it? Even at that, you may not get your full amount back especially if it's currently on sale or clearance.
