I don't know percentage, but if a husband loves his wife he needs to wear it to show her that when he is out on his own he is not making himself available or signalling to women that he is still single.

When I was 8 yr old, my uncle vaulted over a fence (we lived on a farm). His ring caught on the fence post and pulled all the meat right off his finger. I was approx 6 ft behind him when it happened. Since then, I have a real phobia about wearing rings. Never wore my church ring, class ring, any ring. My wife understood, especially after she met my uncle (finger was amputated). I wear my wedding ring when we go out, but not on a daily basis.

My husband has it on every minute unless we are camping, hiking, swimming or something else in the woods. Then we leave it in the car and put it back on when we get back. Don't want to get it all scratched up. It is to important. I would worry about anyone who doesn't wear them *almost* all the time.
However, when we first got them we took them off at night because our fingers were not use to them and they kinda hurt a little. Now 1 year later it is no problem.

I am not sure of percentage. My husband lost 3 rings already....one is under the dryer. I stopped buying him rings. It used to bother him because he lifts heavy boxes for his job and it hurt his fingers.

My husband isn't meant to placed on a hoop whilst on the job (he's an air framer and it somewhat is totally risky to placed on it) yet refuses to take it off. yet he says distinctive married men there by no skill placed on it, at dwelling house or on the job. the only assumption you are able to make is that a committed guy will placed on one. which does no longer help in any respect in case you're single :)

I wear mine most of the time. The only time I take it off is when I deploy. On deployments, I put my ring on my dogtag chain so it is closer to my heart. This earns lots of brownie points with my wife. :)

I have not worn my ring in 30 of our 32 years.
It does not make a difference, I'm still faithfully married.
I've always been of the opinion that the ring makes no difference if your marriage is not firmly imprinted in you head.

Some jobs make it a hazard to wear rings. I know a guy who lost his finger after his wedding ring got caught on a moving lathe. I hope his wife appreciated his dedication, because he can't wear one now.

My dad had to cut his wedding band off because it was getting too small for his finger. He never wore one again but it didn't bother Mom. She knew he would never cheat on her. She told me the wedding band didn't mean a thing...if it wasn't in his heart it didn't matter if it was on his finger.
