maybe the glass menagerie...i'm not sure if the mom is exactly 60 but she's an older woman

Check out Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn. It involves three couples in their mid- to late-20s or early 30s, and one of the character's parents who could be in their late 50s or early 60s. It's a fun play, I worked on a production a few years ago.

"Harold and Maude" by Colin Higgins, which is based on the movie about a very young man and an old (but young at heart) woman who have an affair. It's a beautiful and funny story.

Not sure of the age range, but Oedipus the King is about a man and his mother, which I would assume fall somewhat into that age range.
