I've got Ace Frehley's signature on a rough leather guitar strap, but unfortunately I've got Joe Satriani and Steve Vai autographs on the strap as well. I want to take those off, and just leave Ace's. Anyone know how I can do this? Is there a solvent that will handle it without damaging the leather?

I agree, why? You risk ruining the finish of the strap, and having the other 2 doesn't devalue Ace's. Someday you'll autograph a strap and you won't want the kid to try to burn it off just because Wolfie Van Halen's is on there too, right?

Sharpies are a permanent marker, short of acid nothing will remove it from fabric like leather. Maybe you could cover that part up with a design or something.

Look on google or Youtbe, also, try a wipe-a-way pen, it take the sticky from glue and tape ot, and I think It removes sharpie too, or, just go to staples!
