ROFL! No, I was never crazy enough to do that.
However, I did lock my brother in the trunk once....lol
I let him out eventually. :)

yes, I have. Altho drive inns are almost nil these days, it is a shame. It was good intertainment and the kids got in for free. They had a play area for the kids to play before the movie started. I use to pop popcorn and filled a big brown paper bag full, made kool ade, and it was fun and cheap to take the kids. The friends usually 3, hid in the trunk. Once in awhile they would run a special and have dollar night. That is when you could get the whole car load full in for a dollar. We had them hanging off the bumpers, standing on the car rails, oh my God, it was the most fun I had back then. We took our own eats so it was really cheap to have a night out, and didn't have to hire a babysitter, which back then was 25 cents an hour. I haven't thought about that in years. Thanks for the questions. I had alot of fun remembering.

Well honey, that was in my teens when my parents didn't allow me to go though. As my house keeper wasn't looking, I sneaked into the rear trunk of the car and off to the drive-in though. Of course I'm not pardoned after reaching home as I've sneaked back into the room a little too late then.

Gees.....

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

My grandpa used to make us kids get into the trunk of the car to get into the local fairs. The charged by the person and since he and my grandma could get the senior discount we were in the trunk.

Always and it was usually a trunk full. Oh, I have to tell you my boyfriend was a mechanic so he rigged it so the light wouldn't go on when we lifted the trunk and he fixed the lock so we didn't have to go open it.

I wanted to when I was a kid. I didn't understand why my Mom had to do it instead of me because her belly was so big with my baby brother. Her ticket would have cost more and there were 6 kids who cost less. I understand now and if they would have explained it to me then I would have understood. I taught my children that God cannot bless you if you are a thief. I am so blessed cause I have wonderful children and Grandchildren. Mmm
