does this administration respond better when votes are at stake, if only New Orleans was full of rich, white, republicans, maybe they wouldn't have left them on their roofs to die?

they are doing some thing.... how exemplary or dismal it would desire to be can in basic terms be replied by utilising people who have been rescued and aided. to assert that the government became no longer arranged for this style of calamity is an irony. The nationwide, community, Provincial and Municipal and city disaster Coordinating Councils have been knowledgeable for this! The MDCC communities in my small city in Bulacan have been even finalists in the community rescue workout competitions. they have the manpower, yet don't have the hardware. that's the ordinary Juan dela Cruz who's the two the sufferer and he rescuer, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's the huge politicians gazing on the sidelines who take in the credit after wards. The disaster might have been minimized if in basic terms somebody had warned surely surely everyone way beforehand that the dams had reached extreme ranges and should be drained. The floods might desire to been remoted in some factors in basic terms had somebody theory-with regards to the belief of draining the dam days forward and in a mild, possible value. it would desire to have been prevented all jointly had the government rehabilitated Angat dam 5 years in the past. some days earlier the Governor of Bulacan and different nationwide government officers inspected Angat dam for accessible cracks. there have been no cracks, they are asserting. The dam is risk-free, the surely everyone isn't. whether it have been genuine that final Saturday's rains have been the heaviest in the final 40 years, why are we no longer listening to of extreme flooding in Cavite or Pampanga or Zambales or Nueva Ecija - provinces that have been heavily flooded in the previous, weaker typhoons? it isn't the rain, you notice... that's the dam water! Is the government no longer doing sufficient? they are doing some thing, yet they are doing it incorrect!

Or maybe!
If only New Orleans wasn't full of poor bums, maybe they would have had enough common sense and forethought to make good decisions, like the people in California did, so they would not end up on their roofs to die?
But, that's just a thought because, as everyone knows, it's really the governments responsibility to take care of everybody. People shouldn't have to take care of themselves.
It would take a good bit of thinking for someone to take care of themselves and we all know how hard that is.
Kind of like a master and a slave.

Hate to tell you this, but all the rich, white, republicans heeded the evacuation order and got out of N.O. before the levees broke. It was the people with no transportation or means to leave that were left on their roof.
Funny that Bush was in CA today and he didn't go to LA for a couple days afterward, right?
I still think N.O. government (Mayor Nagin) could have come up with a better evacuation plan (and food, water) for the needy.
