I Have a Pearl River Guitar can i put steel strings on it? it came with nylon strings though?

If a guitar is build for nylon strings it is mostly not strong enough for metal strings.
And the connections points for nylon and metal strings are different.
Check with a music shop where they sell guitars to see if the Pearl River can handle metal, but I doubt it.

I did put nylon strings on a guitar build for metal strings and had to change more than just the string alone.
