You could file for emancipation, but that is a lot of work. It also depends on how old you are.

It depends on how old you are, I'm disagreeing with my rents too, but i'm not a minor. Since you're a minor, you can't get your own place or anything, so if you feel you MUST get out, I'd suggest staying with a close friend or relative for a while. I know how you feel though, I get sick of people telling me that I should listen to them because they know best. I would suggest talking to your mom or going straight to the source, your step-dad. It might be hard, but if you remain calm and don't yell or lash out or w/e it helps. Then he just looks ridiculous or like he is overreacting when he yells and gets upset. It also makes you seem more mature and sensible. Later you can always scream into your pillow or go for a walk to chill out!

You can move out if you get parental consent by your step dad or your mom.you cant just get up and leave without telling them because they can report it a runaway and not that wouldn't be good but every state is different on the ages but its mostly 18.but if one of them gives you permission you can move out and the law cant get you unless you brake some kind of law then they can but you can get emancipated by a judge but that will be a difficult process.

Ahhh, I remember dealing with this myself. You can't move out of your house because you are a minor. However, if you approach this entire matter like an adult - you might be successful. I would talk to your mother when you are calm and she is calm. Talk to her in private. Tell her that you are concerned because you are not getting along with your step father and that it is affecting your school work. Ask her for her permission to start living with another adult (i.e., your father, a grandparent, uncle or another adult you would feel living with).
If she won't allow it, you can ask your father to file a motion to change physical custody. You will have to go to court and testify that you want to live with your father. The court doesn't have to do what you want, but the court will take your desires into consideration.
Keep in mind that no matter where you live, the adult who is responsible for your health, safety and well being is not only allowed to but expected legally to tell you what to do. If you don't like being told what to do, you'll have to patiently wait until you are 18 years old to leave.
You could end up in jail if you refuse to listen to your parents and fight them. There are parents who won't let their kids do anything and there are parents who will let their kids do some things and not other. We can't choose our parents, but we do have an obligation to respect their decisions until we can move out on our own.

Where are you going to go? How will you support yourself?
Better to talk to your mom and try to work it out. You can't run whenever you don't like someone.
