Okay, I'm doing a little bad in this class because I always blow off the assignments. I really don't like my teacher. She's making us do this thing that has history involved in it and well, It's one of the last grades before report cards come out. I need this! Please, if you could just tell me what the Enlightenment period was and who was a good example of it? And I need exact sources or a link to the website page. Thank you!

the Enlightenment period was in the middle to late 1700's where there was a renaissance (resurgence) to gain knowledge in literature and science and math. Education went boom, specially education in universities. This was the time when universities like Harvard and Yale were established in the British Colonies (before the American Revolution). There are various people that are good examples of this, the best one being John Locke.

Sorry you think history is boring.

History is right now, ten minutes ago and a million years from now.

History is all the universe gives you before it removes you with death.

You should think about your place in the universe.

Might make history suddenly more interesting.
