I've spanked my child when she was little and she's a great young lady. Beating is way too harsh.

i don't have kids cause im only 18, but i would NEVER beat my children. maybe yell at or punish but never beat. that's just wrong

A light spanking maybe, but not like a punch or anything. Discipline is one thing, abuse is another.

I would never beat my children. (whenever I have them) But that is not the same as spanking them, mind you. That I would do.

if i ever had a child as bad as me and my siblings were, i don't think i would have a chose. my mom smacked us around when we were bad and we still love her.
