**standing ovation to the Bunny**

I completely agree with that answer. I am not even sure that finding Bin Laden is as much of a 'goal' as it is made out to be, but it's very much a cover. They understand that the war of terror doesn't end with him, but they also understand that "Mr. Joe Blow Amerca" might sleep a little better at night having a tangible figure in his/her head of what and who the reason for all of this spending and killing is. Without Bin Laden as a face to blame all of this nonsense on, they have no real way to explain exactly what they are doing over there in a way so that everyone can sort of get it. It was the same with Saddam (oops), with his face on the war flag, our country felt like it had a goal. Get Saddam. Let's do whatever we can by all means necessary to Get Saddam. Now, it's get OBL. Unfortunately whether he is dead or alive, the terror doesn't stop with him---but hopefully this horrible war does find some resolution with the end of our president's term.

That's because he was killed in the raid on Tora Bora in the early days of the US invasion of Afghanistan. The US has kept it quiet because the public would say the war is over, we got him ! I am firmly convinced he's dead or else we would have seen irrefutible evidence in a live tape or video that could be 100% proven to be authentic & up to the minute. Bin Laden loved that.

Odds are, the people who say they want him dead or alive, what ever the costs, already know where he is and are busy keeping him safe.

He's like Santa Claus. As long as you believe he exists, you'll be good so you get a present. In this case, as long as he's believed to be alive and still out there, it give the American government the unquestionable power to spend untold money on the war against terror.

So says the bunny.

I think he will either be found .. or resolved in the last days of Bush's Presidency... That will give him a positive legacy.
