which they have adhered to strictly otherwise the world would have allowed the US and it's allies to bomb them into oblivion 24 months ago...
The fact that we have not is proof that they are within the confines of the treaty....
so why do we as the American people allow our Government run media to steamroll this issue? .. they are a sovereign nation,..
Have we assumed the role of "world police" ... clearly, we have no credibility when it comes to intel .... "WMD's"??????
why are some of you so ready to spill more blood in that country...

Actually the reports show that Iran is within 3 years of having an Atomic bomb. They have promised to burn Israel off the map, so I don't think they worry about being part of the nonproliferation treaty. Their president thinks bringing about the end of the world will bring the 12th Iman back. And the fact that they do not allow UN observers in to confirm what they are working on does not allay fears. Please recall that nazi Germany was also a "sovereign nation" and look at what they brought to earth.
Of course we can always wait till an Iranian bomb goes off in one of our cities, then you can blame Bush for not stopping the iranians from getting the Bomb.

The main threat that Iran continues to pose to the US is their plan to open an oil bourse(market) that will accept Euros for oil instead of only Petrodollars. This administration will use any excuse to keep that from happening, since we are already in enough economic trouble as is. And remember how big a boost war gives to a country's economy.
