there are many good books about the ghosts of the south. also any Stephen king and Anne rice will be scary enough. Movies i am not sure. Saw movies are good but gory if you like that.

saw 1,2, and 3 are good movies. saw 3 is the best, and hopefully saw 4 will be even better
why don't you watch the halloween movies if you want a halloween based movie...or for the kiddies...nightmare before christmas

get some books like um..... any goose bump book or something about murder like dead letter and things like that
get the goose bump shows or u could watch them on cartoon network after reading them!(goose bump shows happen every night till after haloween)
