Do you always look at the category when you answer a question?

You know, I never do until I've already answered the question. Then I think, how did I get here? I really need to pay more attention to those things. I have asked a question before and realized, after getting some very rude answers, that I just went where ever Yahoo took me................lol

I just look at the questions, if i think i can answer then i just do I never give it a thought to what category it is

Sometimes. Usually, i just look at the question. But, it someone is being really vague and says something like "I need some help with this" Then i look at the category.

Not always, usually look at the question first, then answer if I can or if it sounds interesting. If I'm real curious for whatever reason, I look at the category.

I tend to take this seriously, so yes I choose the category. I would like to think I'm giving the best possible answer I can give.

nah not really. coz when you post a question, it will be first on the main page, so it's open for everyone. who cares what category?? and by the way, Yahoo answers chooses the appropriate category for you when you ask a question.

Nope, I just click 'answer' at the top and answer whatever looks interesting or I know about! Though sometimes I search for specific question keywords in the search box.
