I assume you're talking young teen.
Jules Verne
Marvel comics
The Three Investigators series
The Holloways series (The Boxcar Children, etc.)
maybe (hard to remember so long ago)
Andre Norton
The Sword in the Stone
The Jungle Books
Mark Twain
Perry Rhodan and Atlan series (multiple authors)
It's *really* hard to remember which of these I was reading 30 years ago (15), as opposed to 35 years ago (10). Probably The Three Investigators earliest. I also remember reading National Geographic animal books.

Personally I had a ton of favorite authors. I read a lot, and stopped really reading series like the Harry Potter series by the time I was 7 or 8. Series are great for 1st-4th graders, and some never leave them, which is totally fine, but personally, I stopped reading series and just one author, because well I read a lot. I liked the Box Car Children by Gertrude Chandler Warner which is great for young readers. I really liked Beverly Cleary also. Fudge (Judy Blume) books are great. But by the time I was about 8, I was on to books that weren't series. Rifles for Watie by Harold Keith was one of my favorite books. I read To Kill a Mockingbird the first time when I was about 10 and that is a favorite book. I read Gone with the wind when I was a "youth" also, and that will always be a dear friend. Little Women, another classic.

I used to love Beverly Cleary (especially the Ramona books) and Judy Blume when I was younger. My favorite book though was A Little Princess by Frances Hodgeson Burnett. I also love the Baby Sitter's Club and Baby Sitter's Little Sister series by Ann M. Martin. I also recall enjoying the Goosebumps books for a while. And then I started to get into the series by Tamora Pierce. I still read those as they come out.

Laura Ingalls Wilder
Carolyn Keene and the Nancy Drew series (well, there were a bunch of authors under that name)
Lucy Maud Montgomery, although I actually didn't read her stuff until early in college (Anne of Green Gables)
Anything about horses - Walter Farley, Marguerite Henry's, etc.
Read Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary's books, too
Also was into some funnier books like Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking and by 6th grade more serious books like Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre, etc.

Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary, haha, I remember those books. What are they, Ramona or something? Good times.

C.S. Lewis has always been great. Donald Sobol's Encyclopedia Brown series was probably my favorite.
PS The Boxcar Children books were written by Gertrude Warner.

I ADORED the "Sweet Valley High" series by Francine Pascal. I think I made it up into the 90's before I FINALLY got bored with them, but I could read 3 in a day...boy, was my mom MAD! It was an expensive habit!
I also enjoyed Roald Dahl. I had a teacher in grade school who absolutely made his books come alive! What great memories I have of sitting in Mr. McIntyre's class and listening to him read "James and the Giant Peach!"
Thanks for the fun question!
